Vanni
GARAVINI.
Vanni Garavini is the mind, pencil, and hands behind the early days of this project. Born in 1971, he studied trumpet at the Ravenna Conservatory. During this period of his life, around the age of 18, he came across a project parallel to his musical pursuits: the opportunity to learn how to build and design sofas.
Vanni seized this opportunity, and from that moment on, the “score” of his inclinations and talents—both technical and managerial—paved the way for what is now GARAVINI.
His design skills led him to work on the development of sofas, armchairs, and upholstered furnishings for many well-known companies in the industry, until the day he decided to invest in creating his own flagship line,“Garavini Home.”
Taking a contemporary, generative approach, he renovated a building located in the industrial district of Forlì, focusing on upholstered furniture with a European and multimodal sensibility.

Let’s start with the reason behind the name, Garavini Home. It was a deliberate and thoughtful choice to use “HOME” rather than “SOFA” after the founder’s last name, Vanni Garavini, precisely to convey the idea that, for us , “the sofa is home.”
A collection of 18 products —including sofas, armchairs, and ottomans—that embody a dynamic, romantic, modern, and ever-evolving aesthetic. An intuitive and consistent approach to technical modularity, combined with highly skilled manufacturing capabilities, interacts with an understanding of new attitudes and behaviors in living within an increasingly fast-paced, elusive, and technology-driven contemporary world. These characteristics are reflected in the product’s marketing even before they are evident in the product itself.

Based on these reflections, we have worked to create a collection that is consistently eclectic and grounded in concrete design, and is therefore a true ally of time and of every style.
Our designs embrace a wide range of tastes without ever straying from their core vision. Starting with a linear, modern style, we move through a soft maximalist aesthetic, then into a Japandi-inspired language, before shifting toward a more nomadic, expressive style like boho-chic.
Everything is strictly focused on the quality of our products’ performance and the distinctive seating experience of our sofas—a distinctive experience conceived, designed, and crafted with care and determination. Intangible and tangible values guide us, day after day, toward ever-new and reliable interpretations of our vision of aesthetic, sensory, and functional comfort.
